Number 7 White Buff Cone 06-6 Clay. A versatile, buff-colored body with a wide firing range. Porous at cone 06, but takes glaze well. Contains a small percentage of sand for medium texture. Very economical. Fires Between Cone 06-6, 1828-2232° F. Shrinkage rate is Cone 05 - 7%, Cone 6 - 9%. Best use is throwing. Color is buff.
