Number 3 Stoneware Cone 6 Clay. Number 3 Stoneware is a fine, tight body principally for the wheel. It is very plastic and has a smooth texture. Fires to a cream white color. Used as the base for our "S-series" colored clays. Fires Between Cone 4-7, 2124-2262° F. Shrinkage rate= Cone 6 - 13.7%. Best use is Throwing.
