MB 6 Stoneware Cone 6 Clay. A cone 6 version of our very popular MB Stoneware. Extremely smooth, white, plastic mid-range clay body. It is vitreous and porcelain-like when fired at cone 6. MB 6 stoneware was designed to better fit the mid-range glazes. Fires Between Cone 6-9, 2232-2300° F. Shrinkage rate is Cone 6 - 11%, Cone 9 - 12.4%. Best use is Oxidation firing, distorting thrown forms. Color is White - Oxidation, Gray- Reduction.
